Job Description
Lead Azure migration initiatives across applications, infrastructure, or data platforms
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, architecture, security) and external vendors
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Track progress, risks, and dependencies; escalate issues as needed
Ensure alignment with BMO’s cloud strategy and compliance standards
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status updates
Coordinate testing, validation, and cutover activities
Support continuous improvement of cloud migration processes

Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of project management experience in enterprise IT environments
Proven experience managing Azure cloud migration projects
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, application migration, and data security in Azure
Experience working in banking or financial services environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience working with BMO or similar large financial institutions
PMP or Agile certifications
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in banking
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and legacy system decommissioning
