Job Description

The Power BI Developer will design concise, informative, and easy to use reports and dashboards that will allow business leaders to make timely data-driven decisions, specifically regarding HR focused metrics. The individual will partner with a single business line to understand their needs and build out a suite of reports and/or dashboards to enhance data driven decision making. A strong background in Power BI, DAX, Power BI administration on-line, RLS, data modelling, and experience analyzing and reporting HR data are key to this role.

The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with members of other teams within People Services to translate complex business requirements into reports and dashboards that enable effective decision making and ensure reporting quality.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years in client-facing analytical roles, developing reports with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.

1+ years of Power BI experience, proficient in DAX and Power Query (M)

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Strong knowledge of advanced SQL queries and experience with Workday data

Ability to identify and solve Power BI performance issues

Skilled in managing ambiguity and multiple assignments

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork and explaining data insights

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience working in the Human Resources field
Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Reporting
Microsoft Power BI Data Analytics or Power Platform Certifications
