Job Description

In this senior leadership role within a health plan pharmacy program or PBM, your day would start with reviewing daily metrics and reports, followed by team meetings to discuss projects and align goals. You'd handle client communications, preparing polished presentations. Midday, you'd focus on strategic planning and data analysis to identify trends and actionable opportunities. After a lunch break, you'd manage audits and unbundling services, ensuring compliance and efficiency. You'd present findings to senior leaders and collaborate within the matrix environment, contributing hands-on work. As the day winds down, you'd review accomplishments, plan for the next day, and stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ yrs senior leadership role in health plan pharmacy program or PBM
Experience with PBM functions such as claims processing, networks, rebates, contracting, market checks, procurement, audits, pricing and rebate guarantees, data analytics and reporting and unbundling these services and insourcing
Working knowledge of PBM industry landscape- PBM conflicts of interest and scrutiny, transparency issues, rising drug costs, current trends, technology disrupters
Able to interpret data finding into actionable client opportunities
Polished presentation and communications skills including decks and emails.
Experience presenting to senior leaders, telling the story, selling
Leading in a matrix environment, can roll up their sleeves and do work
