Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP or Family NP with behavioral health experience) to support a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Chicago. This position will be approximately 15 hours per week in a hybrid capacity, with flexibility between 8:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.
This provider will be responsible for conducting diagnostic screenings and evaluations for pediatric patients to support insurance authorization requirements and coordinated treatment planning. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists to ensure appropriate diagnoses are established and documentation meets medical necessity standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- conducting comprehensive behavioral and developmental evaluations
- performing screenings for ADHD, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorder (screening-level assessments)
- establishing DSM-5 diagnoses when clinically appropriate;
- completing documentation required for insurance approval
- collaborating with therapy providers to align treatment recommendations - educating families regarding findings and next steps
- provide medication management within scope of practice if applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active NP License in Illinois
- 2 years pediatric behavioral health experience OR PMHNP OR Psychologist

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience conducting behavioral or developmental evaluations
- Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Strong clinical documentation skills
