Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Focus is on writing Java code
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code by translating requirements into software applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in Java/JEE application development.
• Strong understanding of Java and core concepts.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience deploying code on a server, specifically AWS, and troubleshoot issues.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, React/Angular/VueJs).
• Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills to convert requirements into working code.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
• End to end visibility
o Can write UI code, can write the service code, and make the database change
• SaaS knowledge
