This role will by onsite 5x days per week in Chicago, IL for the first month, then will move to a hybrid model after training is complete.
The Desktop Support Specialist is the front-line end user support for Windows devices. They will be servicing employees with laptop and application troubleshooting, imaging desktops, training users, administering new equipment, and performing computer refreshes. Upon starting this role, this resource will support a large computer firmware and driver refresh to 650+ users. They will also support lifecycle management and administer new Windows laptops.

- 3-4+ years of professional work experience with recent 2+ years in desktop support/help desk.
- Experience with Windows 10 and 11.
- Experience imaging Windows laptops and interfacing with users for laptop support.
- Experience performing laptop driver refreshes and warranty updates.
- Understanding of laptop lifecycle management and administering new laptops.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite and troubleshooting applications.
- Proficiency in CRM and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- Strong communication and customer services skills.
- Experience with Mac OS (they will be introducing more Mac in the future)
- Administering office telephony equipment and services
