TSQL
Integration technology experience using SSIS & PowerBI
Strong knowledge of General Ledger & Accounting process working on payment integration and AIM, an accounting software by Vertafore
Insurance/Financial Industry experience
Backend application experience with Policy & Document admin systems
Excellent communication to lead/mentor junior developers & offshore team

This specialty insurance company is looking for a Database Developer to join their Technical Applications team. This person will be working heavily within SQL & their accounting systems. The individual is expected to understand requirements, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications and complete relevant testing to ensure a quality solution delivery. They will be working with the business & IT teams and collaborating with project stakeholders. This role will be expected to have a lead role with an offshore team and help guide, instruct, and perform code reviews with junior developers. An excellent candidate will be well versed with SQL, have accounting processes/software experience, and have a background in the insurance/financial services industry.
