Job Description

Project Management & Field Execution
● Manage 6–10 concurrent projects from kickoff through closeout
● Maintain schedules, budgets, and quality standards
● Conduct regular site visits and monitor safety
● Oversee change orders, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout packages

Estimating & Bidding
● Lead the estimating process for municipal, commercial, and federal opportunities
● Review plans, conduct site assessments, develop scopes, and finalize pricing

Subcontractor & Vendor Management
● Build and maintain strong trade relationships
● Secure competitive quotes and negotiate terms
● Coordinate schedules and manage performance

Procurement & Logistics
● Make material purchasing decisions
● Coordinate deliveries and resolve supply issues

Client Relations
● Serve as the primary point of contact during active projects
● Provide proactive updates and maintain excellent communication

Crew Development (Year 1+)
● Help hire, train, and oversee a small self-perform crew
Federal Compliance (as work expands)
● Support federal project administration requirements
● Learn and implement compliance documentation with guidance

You’ll have strong administrative, technical, and executive support. Your focus is running operations, not drowning in paperwork.

Required Skills & Experience

● 10+ years of construction experience with increasing responsibility
● Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously ($25K–$1M)
● Strong background in estimating, bidding, subcontractor coordination, and field
execution
● Ability to read plans, understand means & methods, and manage jobsite sequencing
● Proficient with construction management software
● Solid understanding of safety practices (OSHA)
● Familiarity with municipal permitting; federal experience is a plus

- Familiarity with Federal construction
