Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead the development of an AI-powered assistant capable of executing a multi-step, multi-variate troubleshooting and analysis process for a particular manufacturing product quality test compliance. The AI Engineer will be responsible for utilizing existing models available in Azure AI Foundry, overseeing compliance logic, and implementing the core troubleshooting workflow. This role requires collaboration manufacturing process engineers, data scientists, and IT engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize existing AI/LLM models available in Azure AI Foundry to automate the troubleshooting workflow for Nail Pull test compliance multivariate analysis.
Manage existing data connections (Oracle and MSSQL) for the agent to retrieve process data.
Implement a minimum viable user interface (web app or chat-based) to demonstrate the agent's capabilities.
Ingest and interpret manufacturing technical documents, presentations, webinars, troubleshooting steps, and underlying reasoning for RAG pipeline
The agent will use natural language understanding and structured logic to:
o Extract key information from documents and process data.
o Reason through troubleshooting steps, providing clear rationale at every stage.
o Produce pre-defined reports of findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with Azure Stack team to provide access to necessary Azure components and support data connection development.
Work closely with Process SMEs to provide testing scenarios, knowledge documents, and validate the AI's outputs.
Document the project and create an as-built architecture diagram of the process flow and components.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in AI/LLM model development and implementation.
Strong knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL databases.
Experience with natural language understanding and structured logic.
Proficiency in creating user interfaces (web app or chat-based).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in the manufacturing or process engineering industry.
Familiarity with Azure platform and ADO repositories.
