Job Description
Our client, a global distributor of components and accessories for outdoor power equipment, is looking for a Product Manager to work out of their Boise, Idaho location. This role serves as the subject‑matter expert for assigned product categories and owns the execution of the end‑to‑end strategy and profitability of the portfolio. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Data, Catalog, and executive stakeholders to drive product selection, lifecycle management, inventory health, and financial performance. Responsibilities include vendor management, SKU and assortment optimization, demand forecasting, pricing and margin management, and ensuring products are competitively positioned to exceed sales, customer satisfaction, and company performance goals. They're looking for this person to be in office 5 days a week in Boise, Idaho but are open to hybrid/remote in the surrounding region for the right candidate. Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of relevant work experience and formal education will be considered.
• 2+ years of product management experience and formal training required.
• Strong background in the powersports industry is highly preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems, inventory management platforms, and related business applications.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to analyze data, evaluate market trends, develop business forecasts, and calculate product profitability and margins.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve complex business issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
