Insight Global is seeking an experienced Golang developer to assist with a large-scale migration decommissioning a legacy product, on this backend team you will be building out new features, validating and testing. This position can be remote but we are prioritizing candidates local to Boise, ID.
Pay Rate: $60-$70/hr

Proven experience working within a development team to lead significant scope and drive complex projects to completion.
5+ years of strong back end software engineering in Object Oriented Programming (GO, Java)
3+ years of hands on Golang experience.
5+ years of Experience building RESTful APIs and/or gRPC within a distributed microservice architecture.
3+ years experience implementing Amazon Web Services like Kinesis, IAM, ElastiCache for Redis, Lambda, EKS, Neptune, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular 4/5 and Bootstrap). Experience with relational, graph, and NoSQL databases. AWS Certification(s). Experience with OWASP and PCI Data Security. Experience with DEVOPS patterns and tooling (gitlab, Datadog)
