Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Construction Manager to oversee chemical and gas infrastructure supporting a large-scale advanced manufacturing facility. This individual will own the project scope from preconstruction through system turnover, working closely with engineering, design teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
A typical day will involve reviewing design packages, providing constructability feedback, coordinating installation activities, managing RFIs and submittals, tracking schedule performance, and leading subcontractor meetings. This individual will also support commissioning and startup activities, ensuring systems are installed safely, tested correctly, and transitioned into operation according to project requirements. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience managing construction projects supporting bulk gas, specialty gas, and chemical distribution systems within a high-tech manufacturing environment
Experience overseeing projects from preconstruction design review through installation, commissioning, turnover, and closeout
Strong understanding of P&IDs, design packages, system turnover documentation, and construction sequencing
Experience leading subcontractors, vendors, and craft personnel while maintaining schedule, safety, and quality requirements
Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling, Microsoft Excel, and construction documentation management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical facilities
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM coordination, or Procore
Experience managing hazardous chemical or specialty gas systems startup activities
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
