Job Description
We are seeking a Power BI Developer to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team. This role is critical in transforming legacy Excel-based reporting into scalable, governed Power BI solutions aligned with our cloud-first architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Data Modeling & Visualization:
Design and build interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, from converting existing Excel models or connecting to other data sources (SharePoint, SQL or Databricks).
Advanced DAX & Performance Tuning:
Develop complex measures and calculations; optimize models for efficiency and scalability.
Data Engineering Integration:
Collaborate with Databricks as the central orchestration and transformation layer; leverage SQL or Python for data preparation.
Power BI Service Administration:
Publish, manage, and secure datasets and reports in Power BI Service, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with utilities data domains.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong Power BI experience, including Power Query transformations and built at least 15-20 enterprise or multi-functional reports/apps
Advanced DAX skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
SQL or Python experience.
Databricks experience.
Power BI and Fabric administration and troubleshooting experience
