Job Description

Insight Global's client is seeking a Senior Technical Writer with a deep understanding of DoD technology to support experimentation projects in Hawaii. The candidate will produce high-quality, classified documentation for complex defense systems, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with DoD standards. This role requires an active TOP SECRET clearance and expertise in translating advanced technical concepts for diverse stakeholders in a secure environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or a related field (masters degree preferred).
7+ years of technical writing experience, with at least 4 years supporting DoD or government projects.
Demonstrated senior level understanding of DoD technologies
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation tools.
Experience with military terminology, DoD standards, and handling classified information.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure, high-pressure environment.
Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
