Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Assembly Technicians to join one of their clients in Valdosta, Georgia. This organization is focused on developing world-class Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) for defense and security missions. Built to operate in complex maritime environments, these platforms deliver advanced autonomy, mission-ready payloads, and scalable capability to support operations ranging from ISR and maritime domain awareness to contested and high-risk missions. Our customer needs assembly technicians support the build and testing of unmanned surface vessels. Work may include harness assembly, system installation, sub assemblies, and final vessel integration.
What You Will Do
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean workstation
• Use proper PPE, tools, and material handling equipment
• Manage tools and equipment used for vessel testing and controls
• Assemble wiring harnesses and mechanical sub assemblies
• Install hull, deck, and vessel systems
• Work with electronic and mission critical systems
• Follow high industry standards for vessel assembly
• Perform in process inspections and visual quality checks
• Complete ISPC documentation for quality and safety
• Report defects or process issues to engineering or leadership
• Support new model builds and prototyping
• Participate in team meetings and improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
• One or more years of boat or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions
• Familiarity with OSHA and ISO9001 environments
• High school diploma or equivalent
Physical and Work Environment
• Prolonged standing and walking in industrial environments
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
• Use of PPE in designated areas

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Hands on experience with electrical and mechanical systems
