Job Description
One of Insight Global’s major clients are seeking a Budget Analyst to support capital projects at an electric utility company with multiple power generations sites across the state. Selected individuals will be responsible for the following:
• Perform accruals, actualizations, variance analysis, and forecasting for capital project budgets
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers assigned to multiple plants/sites on capital project budget adherence and potential deviations
• Provide updates and reports on budget status on regular basis to project management organization leadership

Required Skills & Experience
• Prior experience within budgetary or financial analysis – including modeling and forecasting of financial or budgetary data, and performance of accruals
• Strong quantitative and analytical background as it related to financial data
• Detailed understanding of Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience within the utility/energy sector
• Bachelor's degree
