Job Description
This role is a Mass Production Buyer supporting an EV drive unit team in the early stages of development, primarily responsible for purchasing production parts for assembly lines and ensuring timely delivery and safe inventory levels. The buyer will work extensively within SAP to place purchase orders, manage billing, and track daily part requirements based on production schedules received directly from Honda. In addition to mass production, the role includes procuring parts for trial builds, with responsibilities expanding as projects transition into full production. Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of buyer/purchasing experience in an automotive manufacturing environment (can take someone who's more Senior if needed)
• SAP experience (as a user/buyer) – Functionally sound
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal: ability to communicate to clients.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelors or Associates degree
- Has worked for a Japanese based company
