Job Description
The Lead IT Business Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to the PMO Director and cross-functional teams at a large Metro Atlanta school system driving IT project execution and business analysis for capital construction initiatives. This full-time, on-site role ensures alignment between technical solutions, educational goals, and district standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (K–12 Capital Construction Focus)
Lead planning and execution of IT components in school builds, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for IT systems (networking, AV, security, classroom tech).
Coordinate procurement and vendor activities for IT services.
Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and educational technology standards.
Facilitate communication among school leadership, district departments, and external contractors.
Monitor project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Support IT governance processes and capital planning documentation.
Conduct post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement.
Business Analysis & PMO Support
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate business and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into actionable project scope and objectives.
Analyze and optimize IT processes; maintain workflows and SOPs.
Assist PMs with scope management, change control, and issue resolution.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.
Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and performance metrics.
Prepare dashboards and reports for PMO and executive stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to PMO governance frameworks and audit readiness.
Support configuration and training for PPM tools and templates.

Required Skills & Experience
- BA certification (ECBA, CFLBA, CCBA, PMI-PBA, CBAP)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency with any PPM (project portfolio management) tools
- Requirements gathering and analysis
- Process improvement and documentation
- Project support and coordination
- ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with key stake holders
- data analysis & reporting experience
- understanding of governance and compliance, especially within a school system
- experience configuring and maintaining of PPM tools and systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience using Monday.com
- PMP or other Project Management certification
- Experience working in K-12 Education environment
