Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Wireless Network Engineer to joint their team. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of both wireless and wired networks across THD's supply chain environments (warehouses, distribution centers, corporate offices, etc.). This person will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of the network systems as well as improving wireless connectivity. This person will be working in a 100% Cisco environment. Pay rate for this position is between $15 and $20/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
- Looking for a candidate that is very familiar in the wireless networking space/has a lot of experience there, almost a SME in the area
○ Wireless engineer experience
○ Experience doing wireless deployments, design, surveying, and maintenance
○ Also needs experience in wireless network troubleshooting, fixing bugs, addressing issues, etc.
- Cisco experience
- Working with wireless networks in a warehouse environment
○ Metal racking, carpeted corporate spaces, etc.
- Candidate must have an understanding of wired networks as well
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Any certifications
- Experience with Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7
- LAN, WAN experience
- Routing and switching
- SD-WAN
- Network automation scripting using Python
