Insight Global is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the Merchandising Analytics team of its client. The position focuses on analyzing and optimizing pricing data, contributing to the development and maintenance of core datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers to develop and automate performance metrics.
Utilize internal tools, SQL, and Tableau to build scalable data solutions.
Translate business requirements into efficient data pipelines.
Analyze and build metrics from legacy pricing data to support product management decisions.
Develop SQL queries using window functions, CTEs, and multi-table joins in BigQuery.
Automate metric updates using live data pipelines.
Visualize data in Tableau and ensure dashboards reflect real-time insights.
Collaborate with product teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
Act as a data detective, navigating internal systems to find the right datasets.
Respond to ad hoc data requests from leadership with precision and clarity.
Maintain stakeholder relationships (40%) while managing data (60%).

Advanced SQL experience (including with window functions and CTEs).
Experience with BigQuery and data pipelining.
Tableau expertise
Familiarity with Jira or other workflow tools (a plus).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to various industries and data types.
Understanding of AI concepts and willingness to apply them in analytics.
Hands-on experience with large, complex datasets in an enterprise environment.
