An Insight Global fortune 500 retail client is looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer to join the team. In this role this individual will be responsible for hands on development in in the latest version of java. This team is looking for someone with strong collaboration skills as they will be a working with their own team while also coordinating with others

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong hands on experience with Java 17–21 (newer Java versions)
• Experience working with Kafka for event streaming or messaging
• Hands on experience in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment
• Experience working with NoSQL databases, specifically:
• Elasticsearch
• Cassandra
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Quarkus knowledge
