Job Description

An Insight Global Fortune 500 Retail client is looking for a Productivity Analyst to establish a data-driven baseline of the team's current engineering productivity and lead a strategic initiative to increase overall engineering output by 25%. This role exists to move the organization toward measurable, actionable productivity improvement - using standardized metrics, tooling, and AI-enabled workflows. The Productivity Analyst will own standardized productivity measurement, identify friction across the software development lifecycle, and partner with engineering, product, and leadership teams to deliver measurable gains in efficiency. This role is highly visible, highly analytical, and highly accountable—combining engineering intelligence platforms, Jira data, AI adoption insights, and executive‑level reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with standardized productivity tracking and reporting
• Experience driving org‑wide change initiatives
• Strong hands‑on experience using Jira APIs
• Experience creating individual productivity baselines and accountability models
• Ability to demonstrate and operationalize existing tools, including:
○ Code Climate
○ AI tools and workflows
• Experience working closely with Product teams
• Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated success translating engineering metrics into business value

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background in engineering operations, DevOps, or platform analytics
