Job Description
A client of IG is looking for a Jira Admin/Scrum Master to join a team.
Compensation:
$38/hr to $48/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure sprint goals align with the product roadmap.
Manage and maintain Jira projects, including story creation, refinement, prioritization, and workflow configuration.
Administer Jira and Jira Align environments, troubleshooting issues, managing user permissions, and customizing workflows.
Oversee additional collaboration tools such as Miro and Glean, ensuring effective usage and integration.
Act as the primary point of contact and support resource for team members and customers regarding Jira, Jira Align, Miro, Glean, and other related tools.
Respond promptly to support queries, triage problems, and facilitate communication between users, internal teams, and external vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
Proactively identify blockers and risks, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
Foster a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous learning within the team.
Document and communicate sprint outcomes, project status, and key metrics to stakeholders.
Ask thoughtful questions to uncover project requirements, dependencies, and potential challenges.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager in Agile environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Jira administration, including creating and managing workflows, custom fields, and permissions.
Experience with Jira Align is a strong plus.
Familiarity with other collaboration tools such as Miro and Glean preferred.
Demonstrated ability to provide user support and troubleshoot tool-related issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and with customers.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
