Job Description

The Building Porter plays a vital role in ensuring that Collaborative Real Estate properties remain clean, organized, and functional. This position supports building operations by performing light maintenance, assisting with room setups, moving equipment, and maintaining grounds. The porter helps deliver safe, efficient, and professional property operations while providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain building appearance, including common areas, parking facilities, and grounds.
-Perform light maintenance tasks and assist with monitoring property systems (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, fire alarms, parking equipment). No prior experience required; training provided.
-Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and event preparation.
-Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors.
-Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
-Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company standards.
-Provide courteous and professional assistance to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
No prior maintenance experience required; willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to lift and move equipment or furniture as needed.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliability and a positive attitude.
