Job Description
We are seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer with deep expertise in GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) to join our IT operations team. This role is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of GoAnywhere MFT and Gateway environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant data exchange across internal systems and external partners.
• Lead the deployment, migration, and optimization of GoAnywhere MFT and Gateway platforms.
• Configure secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) and enforce encryption and compliance policies.
• Integrate GoAnywhere with LDAP/Active Directory for centralized authentication and RBAC.
• Automate key exchange (PGP/GPG), certificate management, and job scheduling.
• Monitor system performance, tune network and thread settings, and implement failover/load balancing mechanisms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support enterprise file transfer workflows.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfers, system compatibility, and performance bottlenecks.
Pay Rate: $55-58/HR - negotiable based on experience

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, with at least 2 years focused on GoAnywhere MFT.
• Strong understanding of secure file transfer protocols, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible), monitoring tools (e.g., PagerDuty), and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating GoAnywhere with Azure AD, SSO, and other enterprise tools.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Knowledge of automation frameworks, API-driven workflows, and XML data manipulation.
• Exposure to other MFT platforms (e.g., TIBCO, Axway, IBM Integrator) is a plus.
