As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, your mission is to design and maintain cutting-edge architectures that ensure our e-commerce platforms deliver seamless experiences to millions of customers.
This is more than managing infrastructure, it’s about building a resilient foundation that supports moments that matter. You’ll lead efforts to innovate, automate, and optimize within a modern Azure environment, ensuring every API gateway, function app, and regionally redundant system operates flawlessly.
Your work will directly impact our ability to provide exceptional customer experiences, enabling a platform that celebrates life’s most special occasions. You’ll have the chance to reimagine what’s possible, bringing purpose and passion to every solution you create.
Location: This is an onsite role based at our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
What That Looks Like Day-to-Day:
• Architect Resilience: Design and maintain a multi-region Azure environment that ensures high availability and fault tolerance. Build robust failover systems that operate seamlessly across three integrated regions.
• Automate Everything: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM and Bicep templates, automating deployments, scaling, and backups to create an agile, consistent infrastructure.
• Optimize Performance: Analyze and fine-tune Azure services like App Services, API Management Gateways, Cosmos DB, and Redis to ensure peak performance under high traffic.
• Drive Cost Efficiency: Develop and execute cost optimization strategies, balancing performance and scalability while reducing cloud spend.
• Innovate with Purpose: Partner with e-commerce and development teams to create infrastructure that supports customer-focused innovations, ensuring a world-class experience for end users.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of Windows Server administration, including configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Manage and support Internet Information Services (IIS) for hosting web applications, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IIS web services, application pools, and server performance.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to implement best practices for web server hardening and application deployment.
• Monitor and maintain server health, applying patches and updates in accordance with organizational policies.
• Oversee and manage enterprise-wide patching strategies to ensure timely updates across all infrastructure components, including servers, endpoints, and network devices.
• Oversee Active Directory (AD), DNS architecture and operations, including domain controllers, group policies, organizational units, and user/group management.
• Monitor Proactively: Leverage tools like Datadog to create comprehensive dashboards and alerts, providing real-time insights into system health and performance.
• Evolve Infrastructure: Transition legacy IaaS systems to modern, cloud-native solutions, ensuring all parts of the environment meet the highest standards of scalability and resilience.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business needs and supports seamless deployments.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with emerging Azure technologies, applying them to enhance system capabilities and drive innovation.
