Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a short term contract. The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across enterprise technology environment. This role partners closely with internal IT teams and third party security providers to protect internal systems, data, and users while supporting compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement of the security posture. This role is also responsible for implementation and operational management of cybersecurity technologies and helps select new ones.

Pay: $35 - $50/hr

Must be local to Atlanta

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or IT security roles.
- Hands on experience with:
o SIEM and security monitoring tools
o Endpoint detection and response (EDR)
o Email security and phishing analysis

• Experience with deployment and configuration of CyberArk PAM.
• Experience working with managed security service providers (MDR/MSSP).
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, SaaS platforms).
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy principles.
• Industry certifications such as:
o CyberArk Sentry or Guardian
o Security+
o CySA+
o GSEC, GCIH
o Microsoft Security certifications
o CISSP
o CISM
