A restaurant client of Insight Global is looking for a POS Analyst to join their team. This persons main responsibility will be to oversee the labs, maintain them, and provide level 3 support. This person is expected to have knowledge in reimaging machines, scripting in PowerShell (with the ability to automate processes and run scripts). They are expected to have a strong understanding of windows computer hardware and the ability to repair them, strong knowledge of virtual machines, and have strong troubleshooting experience. This person will be spending approximately 3 hours of their workday handling escalations from the Service Desk that deal with issues the corporate owned restaurant locations are having. This person will spend approximately 4 hours a day in the lab working with equiptment, reimaging computers, making sure that the lab is tidy (re-cabling, etc.), and keeping up with the equiptment inventory (POS, desktop machines, etc.). The remainder of this persons day will be working alongside internal teams that might ask for help while they are in the labs (such as QA Test team). They are currently using PAR, Infor, and Oracle as their POS system and using ServiceNow as their ticketing system. It would be great if this person knows POS systems however this person will receive training on the various systems this brand uses.
Compensation:
$25/hr to $35/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
