Job Summary
The Quality Technician is responsible for gathering and analyzing product data to support quality assurance, customer service, and production teams. This role ensures product compliance through audits, measurements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform product measurements and data analysis; share results with QA, Customer Service, and Production Quality teams.
Conduct periodic product audits and fixture calibrations.
Support product quality improvement, containment, and new model quality initiatives.
Participate in “level up” activities and continuous improvement efforts.
Respond promptly and accurately to customer complaints, inquiries, and requests; coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
Execute all QA auditor functions proficiently within six months of hire.
Conduct product qualifications using Faro Arm CMM and Optigo Scan for stamping and welded parts.
Investigate and resolve dimensional issues; ensure closure and documentation.
Assist in applying collected data for Statistical Process Control and trend analysis.
Maintain organized records of inspection and test results.
Collaborate with QA and production team leads to contain non-conforming materials.
Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to 5-S standards in the work area.
Verify accuracy of daily paperwork and account for all rejected parts.

Required Skills & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Vocational or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
1–2 years of prior quality experience required; automotive industry experience preferred.
General mechanical aptitude with fixtures and gauges.
Advanced understanding of the TBH Coordinate System.
Intermediate proficiency with handheld measurement tools, CMM, and scanning equipment.
Experience using Catia Viewer.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
Proficient in using standard office equipment.
