Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Site Project Manager for a contract to hire role for one of our clients in near Savannah, GA. This position will work remote, but there will be local customer visits. This is a role working on one large project, one client spanning 2 years. You will be working for a subcontractor under the GC. Will interact with our customer staff and management on a regular basis. You will work with 1-2 site superintendents for this project.



This job will include:

- Building and Construction Knowledge - to prepare detailed construction sequence plans including all necessary material, equipment and labor.

- Schedule build out and management (ideally using MS Project)

- Project Cost Management - monitors, tracks, and forecasts self-perform and subcontractor project costs and quantities, including labor, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are successful and profitable.

- Change Order Management - Follows financial implications of contracts and agreements to protect the company's interests

- Subcontractor Oversight - Monitors, inspects and ensures subcontractors are performing the work safety, quality & adhering to schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

-8+ years of general construction management experience or electrical installation work

Over 1 million projects in previous jobs

-Understands project scope and customer expectations, can read blueprints

- MEP experience in Commercial Construction

-Technical capacity within electrical field, either preforming or managing jobs close to the conduit installations

-Responsible for large projects, manages the contractual commitments of contractors including cost, quality, and schedule and coordinates their field activities.

-Focuses on developing long term relationships with customers in revamping, debottlenecking and expanding resource capacity.

-Demonstrates the ability to persuade, negotiate, and influence others.
