A Partner of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their organization. This person will report to the VP of Accounting and work closely with the Accounts Payable manager. The ideal candidate has experience working within a manufacturing environment, has an in depth understanding of GAAP and experience working with an ERP Accounting Software such as Oracle EBS or similar. They will be joining an organization that is rapidly growing and should be comfortable working on a team as well as independently.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, accruals, and payroll.
Ensures accurate and timely monthly closes of monthly US GAAP reporting.
Prepares and reviews account reconciliations on monthly basis, ensuring understanding of the activity in balance sheet account and documentation used to support the balance.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and schedules to support internal decision-making and external reporting requirements.
Prepare and analyze inventory reconciliations ensuring accurate reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the finance department and implement appropriate solutions.

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing entity.
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in ERP accounting software, Oracle EBS a plus.
Strong Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
