Job Description

Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale data center deployment initiatives supporting one of the world's leading cloud and AI infrastructure environments.
This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and driving execution of deployment projects across multiple data center campuses. The Project Manager serves as the primary operational owner for project delivery, partnering closely with client stakeholders, operations leadership, deployment technicians, inventory teams, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and with a high level of quality.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination

Manage deployment projects from initiation through completion
Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and execution strategies
Coordinate technician, inventory, logistics, and vendor resources to support project delivery
Identify project dependencies, constraints, and resource requirements
Ensure deployment activities align with client priorities and operational objectives
Drive project readiness, kickoff, and execution planning activities

Deployment Execution

Oversee daily deployment activities across multiple workstreams
Monitor project progress against schedule, scope, and deliverables
Coordinate rack-and-stack, hardware installation, cabling, migration, decommissioning, and infrastructure deployment activities
Track project status and proactively remove execution blockers
Escalate risks and issues before they impact delivery timelines
Ensure work is completed according to established SOPs, MOPs, and client standards

Stakeholder Management

Act as a primary point of contact for project-related communications
Partner with client stakeholders to understand priorities, timelines, and expectations
Coordinate with Operations Managers, Shift Leads, Inventory teams, and Deployment Technicians
Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder updates
Manage competing priorities across multiple teams and business partners

Risk Management & Problem Solving

Identify project risks, gaps, and operational challenges
Develop mitigation plans and drive issue resolution
Manage project changes and scope impacts
Escalate critical issues appropriately while maintaining project momentum
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts when required

Reporting & Operational Excellence

Create and maintain project schedules, trackers, dashboards, and status reports
Monitor project KPIs, milestones, and deployment metrics
Track project completion against customer requirements
Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to deployment execution and operational efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications

5+ years of project management, program management, deployment management, or operations leadership experience
Experience managing infrastructure, technology, construction, deployment, logistics, or data center projects
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, and project tracking tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior data center experience
Experience supporting Microsoft, AWS, Google, Meta, or other hyperscale environments
Experience managing hardware deployment, infrastructure installation, or technical operations projects
PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification
Experience supporting 24/7 operational environments
Familiarity with data center deployment, cabling, networking, hardware installation, and inventory workflows
