Job Description

The Project Manager Senior is responsible for simultaneously directing the efforts of multiple cross-functional project teams to achieve clearly defined results within the triple constraints of time, budget and specifications for medium and high-complexity projects. This position is responsible for an average of 3-6 projects as well as low-complexity programs specifically in the in the IT Supply Chain and Operations area. The position is responsible for assembling the project team, developing the project work plan, and managing the expectations, deliverables and results of all internal and external project resources for the roles and activities defined in the plan. This includes managing outside vendors to ensure they meet contractual deliverables. The Project Manager is responsible for tracking project milestones and making necessary adjustments to the project plan or resources to maintain customer commitments. The Project Manager communicates project status and risks to all project stakeholders via standardized project status reports and manages the change process for each assigned project.

Job Duties:
• Run multiple projects at once (3–6+)
o Juggling timelines, priorities, and dependencies across IT + supply chain initiatives
o Constantly balancing competing deliverables and stakeholder needs
• Lead project planning & execution
o Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts
o Drive milestones and keep teams accountable to deadlines
• Coordinate cross-functional teams
o Work with IT, business, vendors, and leadership
o Align teams that don’t report directly to you and keep everyone moving forward
• Own project financials
o Track budgets, forecasts, and overall cost performance
o Provide updates and justification for spend and changes
• Manage risks, issues, and changes
o Identify risks early and put mitigation plans in place
o Run change control and adjust plans as priorities shift
• Communicate with stakeholders
o Deliver regular status updates to leadership and business partners
o Escalate risks/issues and drive decision-making when needed
• Work with vendors & external partners
o Ensure vendors hit deliverables and timelines
o Support RFPs, RFIs, and vendor selection when needed
• Drive process & continuous improvement
o Track metrics, share lessons learned, and improve future project execution
o Follow enterprise PMO / PMI methodologies

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of Project Management experience
• 8+ years of overall IT / business experience
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects (3–6+)
• Strong background in Supply Chain / Operations environments
• Proven experience with project financials (budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking)
• Strong experience with risk management + issue resolution
• Experience working with vendors / third-party partners
• Exposure to SDLC / project lifecycle methodologies (iterative preferred)
