The Senior Systems Administrator will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the client's systems and infrastructure. This position will require proven experience as a Systems Administrator, expertise in MSFT and VMWare, and will ensure seamless operations, security, and high availability. This person will join a team of 4 other admin/engineers to support the Technology Operations Center. This role will require high level trouble shooting from the Tier 1 team but also require decommissioning. The emphasis on this role will be on making sure that the resource can understand change control in a highly sensitive environment that has severe impacts to a patient population. Everything from jumping on critical outages to basic system access. This is a high stress environment.

7 years' experience as a System Administrator/ Engineer
* Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
* Expertise in both Microsoft and VMWare technologies
o Currently leveraging VMware 6.7 and 7.0 -- ideally looking for talent that has done a migration
o Manage technologies such as Active Directory, SCCM, SQL Server, Microsoft Cluster Server
* Familiarity with Linux OS
* Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to resolve system-related issues
o Serve as a contact point for Microsoft enterprise server support
Knowledge of system security, data backup, and recovery
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement server solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Certifiation
