We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee and enforce quality standards on a complex industrial fabrication construction project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical quality control, concrete inspection, and heat tracing systems, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, industry codes, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage the Project Quality Control Plan
Oversee and document QC inspections for electrical systems, concrete placement, and heat tracing installations
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are met
Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections for all definable features of work
Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications
Maintain accurate and organized QC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance logs
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes (e.g., NEC, ACI), and client requirements
Lead quality meetings, interface with third-party inspectors, and support audits
Train and mentor field staff on quality procedures and best practices
Monitor and verify corrective actions for any identified deficiencies

5+ years of QC experience in industrial construction, with emphasis on electrical systems, concrete, and heat tracing
Familiarity with RFI, NCR, ITP, and QA/QC documentation processes
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., NEC, ACI, ASTM, IEEE)
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, or similar project management tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
May require extended hours and weekend work depending on project schedule
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Certifications such as CWI, ACI, or NACE are a plus
