Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the financial operations of a luxury Life Plan Community. This role combines accounting responsibilities with resident-facing customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both financial operations and building relationships with residents. The position is responsible for managing resident billing, cash posting, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, forecasting, and payment processing across multiple systems, including Workday and MatrixCare/AOD. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and comfortable communicating directly with residents regarding their accounts and financial questions. This position will be onsite at the facility Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3-5 yrs minimum of general accounting experience- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, or reconciliations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and logical functions (IF statements).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and positively with residents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned financial processes.
• Comfortable working with accounting systems and high-volume transactional data.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience within a Life Plan Community, Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), senior living, or healthcare environment.
• MatrixCare/AOD experience.
• Workday experience.
• BlackLine experience.
• Prior resident-facing, patient-facing, or customer-facing financial services experience.
