Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a HR & Recruiting Coordinator who is located in either Kennesaw, GA or Minnetonka, MN. This Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization's talent acquisition efforts and providing general human resources support. This role focuses primarily on full-cycle recruiting and recruiting administration, including candidate sourcing, scheduling, interview coordination, applicant tracking, and onboarding activities. The remaining portion of the role supports various HR functions such as employee records management, compliance, employee communications, and special HR projects. This position is ideal for an HR professional with approximately two years of recruiting experience who is looking to broaden their HR knowledge and responsibilities.
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting (Approximately 70-80%)
• Manage recruiting activities for assigned positions, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting initial candidate interviews.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the HRIS and recruiting platforms.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Assist hiring managers with job descriptions, interview guides, and recruiting strategies.
• Manage background check workflows by monitoring outstanding items, communicating with candidates as necessary, and helping move the hiring process forward with minimal delays.
• Prepare offer letters and support the offer process.
• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities for new hires.
• Track recruiting metrics and prepare recruitment reports as needed.
• Participate in job fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
Human Resources Support (Approximately 20-30%)
• Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
• Maintain employee files and HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with HR compliance reporting and audits.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
• Prepare HR-related communications, forms, and documentation.
• Assist with training, and employee development programs.
• Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Support HR projects and other administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2 years of full-time recruiting
• Exposure to a diverse range of corporate skillsets (insurance, IT, accounting, etc)
• Sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
• Self-starter and willing to take ownership
• Process oriented with strong attention to details
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong IT or insurance recruiting knowledge
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or willingness to pursue certification)
