Job Description

The Project
Insight Global is seeking an E2E Project Scheduler for a large-scale (1.3 GW) data center construction program in Atlanta, GA. The program spans multiple concurrent workstreams across civil, structural, MEP, and commissioning scopes and is expected to grow significantly over its lifecycle. This is a high-visibility, embedded role with direct exposure to senior client stakeholders.
Position Summary
The EPS owns the project schedule end to end — from conceptual schedules through baseline development, execution support, and transition to Ready for Service (RFS). This person is the single source of schedule truth on the project, responsible for holding third-party developers accountable to schedule commitments, auditing submittals, and surfacing risks and early warnings to the project team proactively.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptual Schedules

Establish preliminary conceptual schedules in line with specifications and industry best practices
Develop summary schedules capturing all scopes, coordinating cross-functionally from inception through closeout
Facilitate regular interactive planning sessions with key stakeholders to achieve schedule alignment
Support development of schedule templates and IMS/MMS/PBS/PSE concepts, including early-stage milestone development

Developer & Baseline Schedules

Ensure third-party developers produce fully integrated baseline schedules meeting contract specifications; review and address areas of concern on the developer's Basis of Schedule
Identify critical and near-critical paths and periods of peak activity or resource consumption
Establish and agree quantity/resource tracking and progress updates with developers and subcontractors; integrate the detailed Cx schedule into the baseline
Manage review, acceptance, and sign-off of the baseline schedule; support the commercial planning process
Proactively monitor and enforce developer compliance with the CPM specification; audit schedule quality (DCMA 14-Point) at all times

Reporting & Execution Support

Lead weekly developer schedule reviews to identify deviations and corrective actions
Monitor progress of all activities; analyze critical/near-critical paths, out-of-sequence progress, and deviations from baseline
Track owner- and developer-furnished offsite equipment and materials; provide accurate site need-by dates
Prepare independent bi-weekly schedule analysis forecasting project completion, cost implications, and risks
Identify issues, perform analysis, and propose recovery and mitigation plans; review Time-Impact Analysis and provide change recommendations
Facilitate Pull Planning / Last Planner System sessions with developers and trade partners
Manage the construction-to-RFS transition, leading handover milestone tracking with infrastructure and operations teams

Schedule Analysis

Provide independent analysis verifying completeness, accuracy, and compliance with best practices
Ensure developer compliance with GMP cost and schedule specifications; escalate deviations to the project controls team
Support scenario analysis and what-if modeling as requested
Validate alignment between the P6 schedule and VDC/BIM (4D) strategy to ensure constructability and sequencing
