Job Description
The motor shop is seeking a well‑rounded motor professional with a blend of technical motor knowledge and administrative/reporting experience to help build and support a more efficient motor data reporting program. This role is not hands‑on repair, but requires enough technical depth to interpret motor data, write accurate motor reports, and interface effectively with customers and internal technicians.
The ideal candidate has experience in a smaller or “mom‑and‑pop” motor repair shop, where they wore multiple hats—supporting repairs, working with customers, and producing documentation or reports.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain, and improve motor data reporting processes
· Interpret motor test data and repair information provided by technicians
· Create clear, technically accurate motor reports for customers and internal use
· Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data and ask the right technical follow‑up questions
· Serve as a technical liaison between shop technicians and customers
· Support documentation, recordkeeping, and administrative workflows related to motor jobs
· Contribute to improving consistency, quality, and efficiency of motor reporting

Required Skills & Experience
· Experience working in a motor repair shop environment specifically with AC motors
· Exposure to large industrial motors, up to approximately 7,000 HP
· Background in a smaller or independent motor shop
· Prior experience that included:
o Some hands‑on motor repair exposure earlier in career
o Customer interaction and support
Documentation, reporting, or job close‑out paperwork
