Job Description

This position will serve as a software developer, web developer, and database administrator within client's Substation Support group. Primary job duties include using Python, C#, Power BI and SQL to develop data-driven desktop applications, data parsing and extraction tools, and automated data alert scripts. Web development duties include utilizing C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to develop the front and back ends of internal company web applications. Other job responsibilities will include database administration using Python and SQL scripts, creating reports using Power BI, Automating repetitive tasks using Power Automate or any RPA software, and providing technical support to product end-users.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop data scripts, desktop applications, and internal adaptive web applications.
· Utilize best practices such as development patterns and version control.
· Create business performance metric visualization tools utilizing Microsoft Power BI.
· Develop workflow and process automation to streamline daily and repetitive processes using RPA software.
· Serve as a software and database subject matter expert for Substation Services.
· Support regional substation maintenance workgroups and construction personnel to resolve issues regarding internal asset management database and mobile applications.
· Support the advancement of equipment condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs through the development of technology solutions.
· Support the Substation Support group

Respond to emergency and scheduled events outside normal work hours, including support for major storms.

Required Skills & Experience

· SQL, and relational database knowledge are required.
-Knowlege of equipment condition-based maintenance (CBM) program
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
· Knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML and CSS, highly preferred.
· Experience in creating custom SQL queries highly preferred.
· Experience with Oracle databases preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft Power Power

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Python or C# knowledge
-Automate or any RPA software is preferred.
-Experience with the OSIsoft PI System is a plus.
