Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
Receive and inspect incoming UAV trailers and related equipment
Verify VIN numbers, serial numbers, asset tags, and shipping documentation
Conduct visual inspections for damage, missing components, or shipping discrepancies
Perform basic functionality checks on trailer systems and components
Inspect tires, wheels, lights, safety chains, hitches, and hardware
Check and tighten bolts, fasteners, and mounting hardware as needed
Verify proper operation of jacks, outriggers, and other trailer support equipment
Ensure equipment is organized, complete, and ready for deployment preparation
Document inspection findings and report issues requiring advanced repair or review
Perform minor mechanical adjustments and basic corrective actions when appropriate
Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications
1+ years of experience inspecting, maintaining, assembling, or working around trailers, equipment, vehicles, heavy machinery, construction equipment, or similar products
Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing minor mechanical adjustments
Ability to identify visible defects, damage, or missing components during inspections
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a DoD-level pre-employment background check
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses
Military experience in a related MOS
Experience with trailer maintenance, fleet equipment, vehicle inspections, or logistics operations
Experience receiving, inventorying, or preparing equipment for deployment or shipment
