Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager Assistant to support Project Management Office (PMO) operations and capital project initiatives within its natural gas distribution organization. This Project Management Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Project Managers with administrative tasks related to gas distribution projects. This role requires a strong understanding of managing work such as creating requisitions, contract change requests, contract payment authorizations, and managing project initiation and close-out tasks. The successful candidate will perform these tasks at various project stages, from concept to close-out, by utilizing job aides and their strong attention to detail.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years of experience working in a project management or contracts organization specifically in creating requisitions, contract change requests, document control, and payment authorization
- Strong understanding of process flows, document control, and updating information in corresponding ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to read through requests and process them with corresponding information in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – work well with other team members and external customers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Punctuality, professionalism, thrives in a structured environment
- Prior experience working in the Utilities Industry (gas, electric, or similar infrastructure)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle
- Experience with construction or utility projects
- Understanding of contracts and contract terms
