Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Master Data Management Governance Analyst to support a client by executing master data strategy efforts and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across the organization. This role will play a key part in maintaining high-quality data standards that support operational and digital initiatives.

A successful candidate is detail oriented, organized, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership. They should be comfortable working with data sets across systems and focused on maintaining data integrity while supporting business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform data stewardship of master data records including item, customer, and vendor data
· Conduct data quality audits through profiling, cleaning, and validation processes
· Maintain and enhance data governance processes, policies, and tools
· Transform and prepare master data records to support ERP integration
· Monitor and report on master data quality using KPIs and dashboards
· Support data enhancements aligned with digital strategy initiatives
· Provide customer service support to internal stakeholders including sales and operations

Compensation:
$27 to $30 per an hour.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

· 1+ year(s) in data analysis, data stewardship, or data management
· Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
· Experience with MDM tools like Informatica, Reltio, Profisee
· Advanced Excel skills for daily data cleaning and analysis
· Experience with large datasets (high volume, thousands of records)
· Data cleansing and data quality experience (deduplication, standardization)
· Basic SQL experience for querying and validation
· Experience working with product, customer, or vendor data

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Exposure to Azure or other cloud data environments
· Experience with SQL Server specifically
· Background in distribution, manufacturing, or building materials
· Experience building data quality dashboards
· Light project management and stakeholder communication skills
