Job Description

The CAD Designer/Drafter supports parallel tool development by producing detailed CAD models, drawings, and DXF outputs under the direction of the Senior CAD Designer and Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
Develop 3D models and drawings for tool variants and subassemblies
Produce fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings per established templates
Generate DXFs and flatten patterns for facesheets and related components
Incorporate design changes and review comments accurately and efficiently
Maintain drawing consistency, labeling, and documentation standards

Required Skills & Experience

3–7 years of mechanical CAD/drafting experience
Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD and drawing production
Experience supporting manufacturing or tooling projects preferred
Familiarity with weldment drawings and shop‑floor documentation is a plus
