Job Description
We are looking for an organized and analytical Business Analyst & PMO Specialist to support strategic initiatives, drive process improvements, and ensure project governance and reporting excellence. This dual-role position requires a strong understanding of business analysis techniques and project management frameworks, with a focus on delivering value through structured execution and stakeholder alignment. The client is a global rail and transit manufacturer and there is a focus on their transit space at the moment. Lots of projects and initiatives focused on how to digitize the transit world and processes at manufacturing facilities. This role will be working with the business teams and IT/Applications teams to identify areas that can be digitized.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and process flows.
• Conduct data analysis, root cause analysis, and business case development.
• Support solution design, testing, and user acceptance processes.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to validate requirements.
PMO Support
• Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting across the project portfolio.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to project governance standards and methodologies.
• Support resource planning, budgeting, and change control processes.

Required Skills & Experience
• Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field – Operations management background will be an added plus
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis and/or project coordination.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Service Now, Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Boad knowledge of IT applications and technology
