An employer is seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Developer to join their team supporting enterprise-level data solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience in Azure-based data environments. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing database queries, supporting ETL processes, and contributing to cloud-based data integration efforts.
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Design and support ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
Work with Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory to build scalable data solutions.
Collaborate with application and data teams to ensure efficient data flow and performance.
Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
Utilize Git for version control and collaboration.
Support basic API integrations for data exchange between systems.
(Bonus) Contribute to Azure Functions development using Node.js for lightweight data processing tasks.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory.
Strong understanding of query performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Experience in ETL development and support.
Familiarity with Git for source control.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and data integration.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with Azure Functions (especially Node.js).
Exposure to cloud-native data architecture and DevOps practices.
