Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager (IT) – Supply Chain & Manufacturing to lead the execution of multiple concurrent IT initiatives supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and operational systems. This role is execution-focused and manages 3–4 projects simultaneously.

Compensation: $55-$65/hr depending on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities
• Lead multiple Supply Chain and Manufacturing IT projects managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
• Coordinate delivery across IT, Operations, Plant Leadership, and vendors
• Manage project-level resources including Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, and Project Coordinators
• Manage vendors and Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Track budgets, forecasts, and delivery health using ServiceNow SPM or similar tools
• Explore and apply AI-assisted techniques for forecasting, risk management, and reporting
• Demonstrate willingness and curiosity to learn and adopt AI-enabled project management practices

Required Qualifications
• 6–10+ years of IT project management experience
• Experience delivering Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations-focused IT projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM or similar PPM tools
• Willingness to learn and apply AI to project management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with MES, supply chain planning, or operational systems
• Familiarity with manufacturing or plant-floor environments
• Exposure to AI-enabled analytics or delivery tools
