Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Solution Architect to join our team. The AI Solution Architect will lead the architecture and design of AI use cases, support the implementation of experiments, proofs of concept, and proofs of value, and advise and assist the AI Center of Excellence (CoE) at Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB). The role involves rapidly assessing high-value AI use cases, prioritizing them for execution, and evaluating the technology landscape for AI readiness.
Compensation:
$38/hr to $42/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities: • Lead solutioning (architecture/design) for AI use cases and support implementation.
• Guide the selection of technologies to be implemented and work with internal and external resources and vendors on delivery.
• Participate in discovery sessions with business units to identify potential AI use cases.
• Document identified use cases, including business objectives, expected outcomes, and success criteria.
• Evaluate use cases based on their potential business value, alignment with strategic goals, and impact.
• Score and rank use cases using a structured prioritization framework.
• Assess technical feasibility for high-value use cases, including data availability, quality, and integration.
• Develop a detailed and actionable prioritized roadmap for use case implementation, including timelines, resource estimates, and expected outcomes.
• Recommend proof of concept (POC) opportunities with specific metrics for success.
• Define quick wins, long-term opportunities, and phased implementation plans with measurable business objectives.
• Conduct high-level evaluation of the technology landscape for AI readiness.
• Provide advice on a decision-making matrix for use cases to use Business Application AI features vs. Custom AI apps vs. cloud platforms AI capabilities.
Qualifications:
• 20+ years demonstrated experience in a hands-on experience developing data- driven platforms that drive business impact.
• Deep technical and industry familiarity in data and AI ecosystems, emerging technologies and how they can be leveraged in manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in AI architecture and solution design.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and platforms, including cloud platforms like Azure AI Foundry and AI Copilot Studio.
• Experience in evaluating and prioritizing AI use cases based on business value and strategic goals.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Experience and Skills:
• Hands-on experience in AI engineering, including developing machine learning and deep learning models for anomaly detection, demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and early warning systems.
• Proficiency in generative AI and NLP solutions, including frameworks like FAISS, Langchain, llama index, AutoGen, Crew.AI, Opensearch, Azure AI search, Graph RAG, langfuse, and RAGAS.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Python, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face, pandas, numpy, fastext, fbprophet, and haystack.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, including Azure (Compute, FunctionApp, Machine Learning Service, Storage, App service, Cognitive Services, Azure Open AI, Azure AI services, SQL Server) and AWS (Lambda, Cloudwatch, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Sagemaker, Bedrock, RDS, VPC).
• Experience in delivering AI-driven solutions using Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, AutoGen, and Crewai frameworks.
• Proven track record in building AI copilots, agentic AI triage systems, and AI-driven semantic search solutions.
• Experience in designing and developing models for demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and operational efficiency.
• Strong background in manufacturing analytics and AI-driven solutions for various industries.
• Expertise in agile/scrum methodology.

• AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
• Microsoft Certified - Azure Data Scientist Associate
