Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient infusion team. The RN will be responsible for administering infusion therapies, performing blood draws, monitoring patient responses to treatment, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. This position focuses exclusively on infusion services and does not require administering injections.

Key Responsibilities
Administer prescribed infusion medications and therapies in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Perform venipuncture and blood draws for laboratory testing and treatment monitoring.
Prepare and mix infusion medications following safety and quality standards.
Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.
Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or complications.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and post-treatment care.
Document all patient care activities accurately within the EMR system.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
1+ years of nursing experience, preferably in infusion, oncology, rheumatology, outpatient clinic, or emergency room settings.
Experience administering IV infusions and performing blood draws.
Strong IV insertion and venipuncture skills.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
Current BLS certification.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Infusion nursing experience.
Infusion certification (CRNI) or willingness to obtain certification.
Experience mixing and preparing medications for infusion therapies.
Familiarity with outpatient specialty clinic environments.
