Job Description

We are seeking a Testing Lead to support a large-scale enterprise conversion program spanning more than 100 projects. This individual will serve as a hands-on testing coach, advisor, and quality champion, helping project teams execute effective User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, mock conversions, and enterprise-wide testing events.

This is not a traditional Test Manager role focused solely on governance, reporting, or enforcing a rigid testing framework. The ideal candidate is adaptable, pragmatic, and willing to roll up their sleeves to improve testing artifacts, coach teams, review test cases and defects, and help drive testing maturity across a diverse portfolio of projects operating under Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide testing leadership across a large enterprise conversion and integration program supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Coach project teams on UAT, data validation, test planning, test execution, and defect management best practices.
Review and refine test plans, test cases, test scripts, testing artifacts, and supporting documentation.
Perform QA/QC reviews of testing deliverables to ensure consistency, completeness, and readiness.
Support large-scale testing events including mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and enterprise validation activities.
Partner with project teams to identify testing gaps, risks, dependencies, and quality concerns.
Aggregate testing metrics and status updates across multiple programs and workstreams.
Develop and maintain executive-level testing dashboards, reporting, and readiness summaries.
Help establish governance practices while remaining flexible to varying team structures and methodologies.
Collaborate with business, technology, and project leadership to build confidence in testing readiness and conversion preparedness.
Utilize AI and productivity tools to streamline reporting, documentation analysis, and data aggregation.
Serve as a trusted advisor who can pressure-test plans, challenge assumptions, and improve overall testing quality.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience leading testing efforts within large-scale enterprise programs, integrations, conversions, or transformation initiatives.
Strong experience with UAT, business testing, data validation, and test governance.
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor project teams on testing processes and deliverables.
Experience reviewing test cases, defects, testing metrics, and readiness artifacts.
Proven ability to work in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
Strong reporting and analytical skills with experience consolidating status across multiple projects.
Hands-on mindset with willingness to work directly in testing documentation and artifacts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Working knowledge of Jira and related project management tools.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting large banking conversions, mergers, acquisitions, or core system integrations.
Experience participating in mock conversions, cutover testing, or enterprise readiness events.
Familiarity with complex environments containing custom applications, legacy systems, and varying levels of process maturity.

Knowledge of AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms.
